Wellness Mixology

The new Anne Semonin product line and treatment menu at the Four Seasons Spa ticks a lot of boxes. Made using all-natural, vegan and cruelty-free ingredients, this exclusive range combines real biotechnology with signature face and body techniques to offer customised benefits with immediate results.

Always on the hunt for the perfect new product line, the Four Seasons Spa recently elevated its offerings with a collection of bespoke products and signature result-orientated treatments from renowned French skincare company Anne Semonin. Exclusive in Cyprus to the Four Seasons Hotel, the line is celebrated for its innovative approach: its products designed with active ingredients in biotechnical blends to deliver results from the very first use.

While the line is described as “very chic, high-end Parisienne in look and feel,” the real highlight is the products’ incredible effect, says Four Seasons Spa Manager, Anna Donovan. Not only do these products deliver real benefits, they also treat multiple skin conditions and can be intelligently customised to meet each individual’s specific needs or desired results. “It’s all about mixology with Anne Semonin,” says Anna. “You can really customise the treatments by blending products together.”

This distinctive approach to customisation is a large part of what makes Anne Semonin products so exceptional. Following an in-depth skin consultation, therapists mix and match the exclusive products to meet their client’s needs. And though the line is orientated towards anti-aging, it also addresses a plethora of conditions, from slack skin that would benefit from firming and lifting, to urban city skin thirsty for intense hydration.

The brand is also renowned for its unique cryotherapy treatments, first pioneered in the 80s by celebrity beauty therapist Anne Semonin herself. Serum – containing active ingredients – is frozen into ice cubes to create a wonderfully cooling, refreshing effect that simultaneously firms and tightens. And this is followed by Anne’s famous lymph drainage massage, which provides visible lift and radiance. “The process is utterly exclusive,” says Anna. “I don't know of any other range that uses ice cubes as serum. The guests absolutely love it.”

The spa also offers cryotherapy body treatments, including the Cryo-lipoliss massage, an anti-cellulite massage in which cryotherapy balls containing frozen ingredients are rolled over the body to improve firmness and tightness. Perfect for cooling sunburnt skin!

Signature treatments are the backbone of the Anne Semonin brand. And while the spa offers something for everyone – be they man, woman, teenager or expectant mother – certain therapies have proved a favourite with guests.

Amongst these, Anna notes, are the Precious Pearl Facial, favoured “both for its results-orientated, anti-aging properties and also because it incorporates two facial massage techniques.” A classic lymphatic drainage massage is complemented by a stronger firming and lifting facial massage, followed by a rubberised pearl extract mask and pearl cryotherapy ice cube massage. Topping the body charts is the 90-minute Cocooning Scrub & Massage Ritual, which involves a silky smooth exfoliating treatment using Anne Semonin’s indulgent Nude Scrub (made with crushed rose quartz crystals and white sand from Bora Bora), followed by a wrap and a full body massage using essential oils customised to each client. And for those who can’t choose between the two, Anna recommends the two-hour Heavenly Anti-stress Face and Body Experience: an indulgent body massage, a warming back mask, and a 75-minute cryotherapy facial.

Currently developing an exciting range of new gold facials and masks, which will feature in the treatment menu for 2022, the luxury brand has also recently launched a set of three beautiful gold serums: immediate bestsellers which, with their real, 24-carat gold, deliver unparalleled radiance. “Anne Semonin are constantly innovating, developing, and producing new products,” says Anna. “And whatever they create is exactly what the market is asking for.”
