Shirodhara comes from the two sankskrit words “shiro” meaning head and “dhara” meaning flow. This Ayurvedic massage treatment starts by drizzling a warm aromatic blend of Rosemary, Fennel & Frankincense oil over the back. A deeply relaxing massage focusing on tension areas of the back neck & shoulders is performed before the treatment continues onto the front of the head. The warm oil from the authentic Shirodhara copper pot is gently flowed over the ‘third eye’ chakra before trickling through the hair during a mind melting head massage.
